Fairfield, California: Our latest customers had purchased a Genesis GV70 and the only miles the car had been driven were from the dealership to home. During our conversation over the phone, they wanted the best protection for their vehicle against all mechanical damage. The customers wanted a full front paint protection film coverage for their new Genesis. Full front paint protection film coverage entails a full hood, front bumper, full fenders, back of the mirrors, and front headlights.
We started the PPF installation process by first washing the car with deionized water and our signature foam wash. We dried the vehicle with ultra-plush high-gsm microfiber drying towels and inspected the surface to find out that there was extreme red paint overspray on the entire vehicle! In other words, even newer cars that are driven off from the dealership lots can have defects and imperfections that need to be treated and removed before layering on a paint protection film or coating.
You can notice below how severe the overspray was.
After removing the overspray, we installed the PPF on the full hood of the Genesis, then the bumper, fenders, and mirrors. We tucked the edges of the hood to make sure that minimal to no seams and edges show on the vehicle’s surfaces.
After the installation, the customers, who had done paint protection films on their previous cars, were completely blown away by the quality of the work we did and the protection our custom bulk cut had to offer for their new Genesis GV70.
