We started the coating installation by first giving the car our signature ceramic foam wash and decontamination treatment that got rid of all the dirt, debris, and contaminants on the vehicle. After drying the car with high-quality ultra-plush high-GSM microfiber towels to ensure no scratches were left on the Tesla Model Y, we used a soft foam buffing pad with a light-medium cut polish to remove super fine scratches and swirls, drastically enhance the gloss and slickness of the vehicle, and prime the painted surfaces for proper graphene coating adherence.
Our team then used a detox treatment to get rid of any polishing residues and oils left from the polishing and cleansing process. The detox treatment is an essential part of the coating installation because proper coating adhesion depends on bonding the vehicle to bare paint that has a primer and catalyst on it. Finally, we installed a graphene coating sectionally to the entire Tesla and left it with a mirror glaze finish that blew away the customer!
